I earned my Ph.D. in Education Studies at the University of California, San Diego.
My work addresses higher education outcomes, educational psychology, student populations with ASD, intersecting inequalities in education, and quantitative methodology.
Prior to UCSD, I earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies at California State University Fullerton (CSUF) where I was a part of Social Psychology research team studying outcomes for LGBTQ individuals. I later went on to earn my Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology at CSUF where I studied the post-school outcomes of adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). After completing my MA, I taught at a private high school and courses at CSUF which helped solidify my interest in education as a discipline.
